Abby from Strip Search posted up color versions of her characters [sample on right], which lacked the normal line shading of the norm. Decided to color in some of the lineart to see the difference [left]. Together? Both are good. Color only? Detracts from her distinct style.
Words: Kitten and Scat.
Would have shaded it, but it took too much time to get through all the panels.
When Penny Arcade put together their reality webseries Strip Search, I applied immediately. It wasn’t until being rejected, and subsequent college courses in how to present oneself in a business atmosphere, that I really learned where I went wrong in the process. Watching the show would also teach me some aspects of the work that I was missing.
To that end, I’ve decided to put myself through the 90 minute elimination comic challenge every day I can (duty calls, after all), to see if I can create comics that will make sense, and make people laugh.
I sourced a series of nouns from friends, and will be putting two together every day in order to create a comic.
